Yard Sale Donations

Donations accepted at the following dates/times:

Sunday December 22, 2024 from 1-3PM

Wednesdays from 5-6PM on 2/26, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19, 3/26, 4/2, 4/9 and 4/16

Saturdays from 11AM -12PM on 3/1, 3/8, 3/15, 3/22, 3/29, 4/5, 4/12 and 4/19

Sundays from 1-2PM on 3/9, 3/23, 4/6 and 4/20

Receipt of donations made will be provided to the donor for tax purposes.

Drop-Off Dates and Times

Please drop off donations at the storage container in the Albert Hill Parking Lot at the corner of Park Ave. and Roseneath Rd. on the dates and times listed. Albert Hill Middle School is located at 3400 Patterson Avenue, Richmond VA 23219.

If you would like to arrange for a different drop off time or you would like to request that someone pick up your item(s), please reach out to alberthillyardsale@gmail.com.

Donation Quality and Categories

All items must be operational and in good condition. Please ensure all pieces and parts are attached or connected, and items are clean and functional. If the item is a niche or unusual item, labeling to ensure we know what it is would be helpful! Please do not donate broken items.

The following categories give a general guideline but do not cover everything that will be accepted. If you have an item you would like to donate, but it does not fit into one of the categories below (please be sure to check the “no thank you” list, too!) or you have any questions about this sale, please reach out to alberthillyardsale@gmail.com.

Large Furniture Donation

If you have a large item that you’d like to donate, please send us a picture (alberthillyardsale@gmail.com) to ensure we can accept it prior to dropping it off. If you need help with furniture pick up, we can do that too, just drop us a note and we’ll connect with you.

There are certain items that we do not accept. While we appreciate your generosity, please consider donating these items elsewhere:

  • Clothing/Shoes (new with tags or in box may be exceptions)

  • Linens

  • Books

  • Mattresses/Box Springs

  • Building Supplies

  • Stuffed Animals
